McCormick & Company, Inc. is seeking full-time Distribution Technicians for its Maryland Logistics Center (MLC) in Sparrows Point, MD. The ideal candidates should have a strong work ethic, solid technical skills, logistics experience, and excel at teamwork.

The positions report to a Warehouse Team Manager and involve picking/packing, staging, operating pallet jacks, RF scanners, and SAP-based inventory processes. Weekend shifts include a $2.50 premium and a $500 bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Accurate clerical and numerical skills; read, interpret, and follow complex procedures.
• Ability to learn to operate equipment, including motorized pallet jack and battery charging system.
• Ability to work where performance is measured against standards.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Proficient with SAP inventory program.
• Follow written and verbal directions.
• Basic PC experience.
• Regular onsite attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/stage customer orders accurately using RF scanner and VMC.
• Operate industrial equipment like pallet jacks, wrappers, and pallet dispensers as needed.
• Use computerized inventory system and document safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Perform general warehouse duties including sanitation, training, and audits.
• Attend team and startup meetings and participate in special projects.
