Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a Distribution Technician to join the Maryland Logistics Center team in Sparrows Point, MD, operating in a hybrid 50/50 capacity. The role reports to a Team Manager and entails picking, packing, staging, and data entry to support timely order fulfillment.

This position requires experience with material handling equipment, strong clerical and numerical skills, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Material handling equipment or heavy industrial equipment experience.
• REQUIRED: Accurate clerical and numerical skills, ability to read and follow procedures.
• REQUIRED: Experience with operating PIT and battery charging systems.
• REQUIRED: Ability to work under measured performance standards.
• REQUIRED: Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/stage customer orders accurately and timely.
• Operate PIT equipment and other material handling machines.
• Input data accurately and maintain records.
• Perform general warehouse duties including put-aways, replenishment, loading and unloading.
• Participate in team meetings and special projects.
