Job summary

Butler County Regional Transit Authority in Hamilton, OH is seeking a part-time Operations Supervisor I to support dispatch and customer service from our Hamilton location. The role emphasizes evening and weekend coverage, with shift patterns tied to university calendars and breaks.

You will help coordinate base radio communications, schedules, and rosters, back up drivers, enforce policies, and assist in safety and training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of experience as a vehicle operator, dispatcher, or in a customer service role.
• Completion of or ability to complete BCRTA’s Behind-The-Wheel Trainer Program.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch communications via base radio console and coordinate with operators.
• Respond to customer inquiries and assist with trip scheduling.
• Prepare and manage daily operator schedules and rosters.
• Provide road supervision and support during routine operations and emergencies.
• Enforce BCRTA policies for driver and radio conduct.
• Investigate accidents and coordinate emergency responses.
• Maintain accurate operation logs and reports.
• Train and guide operators on safety procedures.
• Promote positive public image and customer service excellence.
