Job summary

Drive Shack in Richmond, VA is seeking a Dishwasher to support its fast-paced kitchen and events. You will wash and sanitize dishes, keep the dish area organized, and assist the culinary team as needed to ensure smooth operations.

This role requires standing, lifting up to 25 pounds, and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior kitchen safety knowledge is helpful, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist kitchen staff by collecting dirty or used items from prep areas, service stations, or events.
• Operate dishwashing machinery and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Follow all venue policies and procedures regarding safety and cleanliness.
• Support team members in maintaining an efficient and collaborative kitchen environment.
• Perform additional duties as requested by the culinary or management team.

Job Purpose

The Dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This position is responsible for washing and sanitizing all dishes, cookware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety are met.

In addition, the Dishwasher supports the overall flow of operations by staying aware of venue needs and assisting other team members. This includes promptly collecting used items from various stations, restocking clean wares, and maintaining an organized dish area to support kitchen and service teams.

Working Conditions

• Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required to support business operations
