Job summary

Friendship Community Care, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to join an interdisciplinary team delivering quality services in home and community settings.

You will assist clients with daily living tasks, transportation, and documentation, following plans of care and HIPAA policies. Weekend shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM, with requirements for a high school diploma or GED and driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two+ years' experience with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Valid Arkansas Driver's License required.
• Ability to read, write, and present information clearly to clients and staff.
• Experience with behavioral records and documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, meals, housekeeping.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments; valid license required.
• Maintain communication via logs and staff meetings about client progress and needs.
• Complete required documentation and maintain records per Medicaid guidelines.
• Report incidents or emergencies immediately.
• Follow Plan of Care and monitor medication management as prescribed.
• Assist in maintaining FCC facilities and vehicles and participate in safety procedures.
