Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support in a licensed residential facility. You will assist clients with daily living skills, promote autonomy, and document progress and interactions.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 am–2:30 pm (16 hrs/week). Training is provided, with benefits including 403b and AFLAC, plus a $500 NADSP incentive after 90 days upon certification completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid Certifications.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive individual support and personal care services to clients.
• Promote independence and autonomy by teaching daily living and behavior management skills.
• Engage clients in structured activities that encourage growth and participation.
• Complete all required documentation promptly, including time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
• Participate in ongoing communication and planning for individualized program implementation.
• Administer medications and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Use the least intrusive intervention methods to support clients effectively.
• Foster community integration by encouraging the use of public resources and recreational opportunities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
