Job summary

Friendship Community Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work weekends in Russellville, AR. You will support clients with daily living activities, document plans of care, and ensure safety and dignity in home and community settings.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Arkansas driver’s license. You’ll participate in training, follow HIPAA rules, and help maintain records and transportation for activities and appointments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or two+ years' experience with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Must have a valid Arkansas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with showers, dressing, housekeeping, meals, and budgeting.
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments with a valid Arkansas driver's license.
• Maintain documentation including behavior and incident reports daily and other required forms.
• Follow Medicaid guidelines for vehicle maintenance and mileage/billing records.
• Report incidents to supervisors immediately; ensure safety and confidentiality.
• Assist in Plan of Care and monitor health, safety, and security as prioritized.

Education
