Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is seeking a Part-Time Direct Care Associate for the SEFP residential program in Virginia. The role includes weekend shifts with on-site support for women and their infants, providing direct care and maintaining a safe environment.

The position requires at least one year of direct care experience, preferably with substance use or mental health concerns, with CNA a plus. This role supports recovery and stability in a licensed setting.

Qualifications

• One year of direct care experience working with adults and/or families with substance abuse and/or mental health needs, CNA a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care, supervision, and support to women in a residential treatment setting.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents and their infants.
• Assist residents with daily living activities, household routines, and infant care as needed.
• Monitor resident activities and respond appropriately to safety concerns.
• Encourage positive behaviors, healthy routines, and recovery-focused goals.
• Complete accurate documentation of resident observations, activities, and incidents.
• Communicate important information to supervisors and other team members.
• Work collaboratively with program staff to support the well-being of residents and their infants.
