Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Dining Services Assistant Manager – Weekend Supervisor to support the dining department at a long-term care facility.

The role focuses on managing operations Friday through Monday, upholding high standards of food quality, safety, and service. You will assist in staff supervision, training, and ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines while maintaining records and coordinating with residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in food service management or a similar role is desired.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in dining services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dining Services Manager in overseeing daily dining operations.
• Supervise and train staff.
• Ensure compliance with dietary guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain records of inventory, costs, and employee schedules.
• Lead training sessions on food preparation, service techniques, and safety protocols.
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff to enhance the dining experience.
• Conduct inspections of dining areas for cleanliness and organization.
• Represent HCSG professionally with team members and residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
