Job summary

Buckingham Senior Living in Saint Joseph, MO is seeking a Part-Time Server to warmly welcome residents, assist during meals, and keep dining areas clean and organized. The role requires standing and light lifting, with weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00am to 9:00am.

You will collaborate with team members, help prep and serve meals, engage residents with a friendly attitude, and support a home-like community.

Qualifications

• You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• You can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with our Residents!
• You will have a positive and energetic attitude who will LOVE our Residents!
• You must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• You must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• You must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
• You must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Assist with meal service, prep, and clearing, ensuring a smooth dining experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, bussing tables and tidying floors as needed.
