Job summary

UPMC North Central Pa. is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend program designed to provide premium pay and a consistent weekly schedule. The role emphasizes advanced imaging with minimal supervision and exceptional patient care.

Qualifications include ARRT, CT certification (or eligibility), and at least six months of CT experience. The program requires working 48 weekends per year with 24 hours per weekend, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification required.
• CT certification or eligibility preferred.
• Minimum of six months CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures using established imaging protocols and contrast administration.
• Utilize advanced CT equipment for image acquisition, analysis, reconstruction, and documentation.
• Adjust protocols with clinical judgment to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Administer oral, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders and department policies.
• Demonstrate venipuncture and power injector usage.
• Document patient information and maintain imaging records in RIS/PACS.
