Job summary

UPMC Horizon - Shenango Valley in Farrell, PA, is seeking a Weekend Program CT Technologist to join our Imaging Team. Applicants are placed into appropriate title and salary based on experience and education; a $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for a 2-year commitment.

Responsibilities include performing CT procedures per protocol, reviewing patient history, and ensuring proper documentation via RIS/ISITE. Weekend shifts are required and patient care is provided with a team-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months CT experience.
• Weekend program requires 48 weekends per year.
• Ability to administer contrast and operate CT equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures using established protocols and contrast administration.
• Manages image data and ensures proper coding and RIS/ISITE-networked archiving.
• Communicates instructions clearly to patients and supports their comfort and cooperation.
• Identifies patients with two identifiers and follows universal patient safety protocols.
