Zusammenfassung

Aurora Health Care Metro, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Program CT Technologist for our imaging team. You will operate GE CT scanners and contribute to a wide range of diagnostic studies in a weekend schedule.

The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with Radiologists and staff in a high-volume environment. Weekend compensation applies, with opportunities for skill development.

Qualifikationen

• Requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Radiographer license and ARRT RT registration; CT registration needed within 18 months.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification obtained within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Operates CT equipment for basic/intermediate diagnostic procedures.
• Performs body, head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, contrast and extremity imaging as instructed.
• Obtain patient history and verify orders for exam accuracy.
• Position patients and adjust scanning factors to obtain quality images with radiation safety.
• Prepare/ administer contrast as directed and assist Radiologist with techniques.
• Post-processes images and labels files with patient info and location.
• Document procedures and charges; enter data into radiology information system.
