Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, administer contrast, and collaborate with radiologists to optimize patient care. The role supports student education and maintains safety standards in a fast-paced imaging department.

Ideal candidates have ARRT radiography certification and CT registration within 2 years, with 1–3 years of CT experience; Illinois or Wisconsin licensing as required. Weekend shifts and on-call may be included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• 1–3 years CT technologist experience preferred; will consider trainees/new grads.
• ARRT Radiography registration required; CT registration within 2 years of hire.
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation (Illinois) or WI license (Wisconsin).
• CPR or BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic Computed Tomography procedures and techniques.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures performed.
• Reviews patient history to ensure correct scan; coordinates with radiologist as needed.
• Provides patient education and practical instruction for students and partners.
• Maintains ALARA principles and documents CT procedures in EMR.
