Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety. You will operate the CT scanner, initiate IV access, review clinical history with radiologists, and document in the EMR.

This role supports day shifts with potential weekend/holiday coverage, emphasizing ALARA principles and collaboration with radiology teams across Mercyhealth's network in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT Radiography and CT registrations required within 2 years of hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 90 days; licensure for Illinois/Wisconsin where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures and techniques.
• Prepares and administers contrast media for procedures.
• Reviews patient history with radiologist to ensure appropriate scans.
• Operates CT scanner and power injector to obtain quality images.
• Maintains ALARA principles and documents in EMR.
• Provides patient education and supports interventional procedures as needed.
