Job summary

Mercyhealth is hiring a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures and support radiologists and healthcare teams. The role includes administering contrast, reviewing patient history, educating patients, and supervising students, with a focus on safety and ALARA principles.

The position requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program, ARRRT radiography/CT registrations, and the ability to flex shifts including weekends. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• 1–3 years CT technologist experience preferred; will consider trainees and new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic CT procedures with proper technique.
• Administers contrast media as appropriate to procedures.
• Reviews patient history and coordinates with radiologist/provider.
• Maintains patient education and safety; follows ALARA principles.
• Operates CT scanner and power injector; documents procedures in EMR.
• Flexes to support department, including weekends/holidays/call.

Education

Accredited radiography program

1–3 years CT technologist experience preferred
