Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human service field from an accredited institution.
• Two years of related experience or a combination of education and experience that meets position requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care and case management as outlined in program policies and procedures, including but not limited to responding to crisis calls, conducting initial screenings and facilitating admissions and discharges.
• Coordinates and facilitates weekend skill building and recreational program activities.
• Provides supervision of youth according to program guidelines and policies, maintaining an environment that promotes safety and wellbeing.
• Models care and respect to youth and families through strengths-based, developmentally appropriate interactions.
• Leads weekend meal preparation activities and engages youth in planning and preparation.
• Collaborates with shelter staff to deliver services in line with guidelines and policies.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with stakeholders from systems impacting program youth.
• Maintains required records and documentation.
• Completes daily facility maintenance and cleaning to keep a safe, orderly environment.
• Expends agency funds as directed and provides shift change communication.
