Legend Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare nourishing meals from scratch using fresh ingredients, supporting our Gold Leaf Dining standards and high-quality service for residents.

The role emphasizes hands-on kitchen work, adherence to food safety, and teamwork in a rewarding, long-term care setting. Evening and weekend shifts may be required, with opportunities for growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction to residents and associates.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with the dietary needs of the residents and fulfill special meal requests when needed.
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with the service of the meals.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations.
• Follow safe work procedures to include injury prevention, food safety, and infection control.
• Properly labeling and dating all food in the refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
