Legend Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join the culinary team and prepare nourishing meals from scratch for residents. You will contribute to Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining experience and uphold high standards of atmosphere and food quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on cooking, attention to dietary needs, and collaboration with a friendly team in a supportive environment. Evening and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a commercial restaurant.
• Ability to provide the highest level of culinary service and professional interaction to residents and associates.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment, be organized, flexible, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with dietary needs of residents and fulfill special meal requests.
• Prepare meals from the menu plan and assist with service.
• Maintain cleanliness of production and service areas.
• Inspect work, storage, preparation, and service areas to meet food safety standards.
• Follow safe work procedures including injury prevention, food safety and infection control.
• Label and date all food in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage.
