Job summary

RiverWoods Exeter is seeking an experienced Cook to join our Dining team for a Saturday-only shift from 9:30am to 6pm. The position offers a set weekend schedule and the chance to make a difference in resident dining.

The ideal candidate will work with whole food items, maintain a safe and sanitary workspace, and be flexible to operate various stations while contributing to consistent quality and the resident experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required or preferred.
• 2–4 years culinary experience preferred.
• ServSafe certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all hot and cold menu items for residents and personnel according to production sheets and recipes.
• Comfortable working with modified diets as needed.
• Maintains sanitation and food handling standards in production tasks.
• Meets daily with Sous Chef/Director to review production amounts, techniques and timing.
• Attends in-service trainings.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment.
