Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Cook for weekend shifts to prepare meals for the cafeteria, patients, and catering events. You will follow recipes, assemble large batches, and work with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or GED (culinary school preferred) and 1 year of cooking experience; SAFE Serve certification is a plus. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Culinary School preferred.
• Student currently enrolled in an accredited Culinary School preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks in the preparation of meals, interprets recipes, cooks and assembles large volumes of food for the cafeteria, patient, and catering meals.
