Veritas-in-Home-Care is seeking an experienced Companion Caregiver for a young male client with autism, epilepsy, and sensory integration issues. The role involves supporting all activities of daily living, including bathroom visits, in a compassionate, engaging manner, and bonding with the client as a trusted companion.

The caregiver should bring energy and a willingness to engage in activities, with sports interest potentially helping to motivate interaction.

Responsibilities

• Experience supporting individuals with autism, epilepsy and sensory integration issues.
• Ability to assist with all ADLs, including bathroom visits, while maintaining dignity.
• Energetic and engaging approach to encourage participation in ADL activities.
• Ability to bond with client and act as a reliable companion.
• Interest in sports can help engage client in activities.
• Experience with behavioral issues may be helpful.
