Sittercity.com is seeking weekend help for a 22-year-old autistic son who is non-verbal and communicates with an iPad. The role can be either companion care or ABA therapy support, with training provided.

Hours vary: Saturdays and Sundays 9:00–2:30 and/or 2:30–9:00, plus weekday afternoons and overnights. This in-home position requires patience, reliability and a compassionate approach to autism.

Qualifications

• Patience and reliability for weekend in-home care.
• Experience with autism spectrum conditions preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide weekend companionship and ABA therapy support as needed.
• Assist with communication using an iPad and reinforce skills.
• Receive training for the ABA program and follow family plans.
• Commit to weekend hours with occasional weekday afternoons/overnights.
