Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale is seeking an experienced N/C Turning Equipment Operator for a weekend night shift (Fri, Sat, Sun, 6pm–6am). Training occurs on 1st shift for 60–90 days, then 36 hours paid for 40.

You will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce forgings per specs, using various measuring tools and gauges. The role requires 5+ years CNC operation and setup on horizontal or vertical lathes, plus strong reading and math skills for measurements and blueprint interpretation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years CNC operation experience.
• Minimum 5 years setup experience on horizontal or vertical lathes.
• Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension.
• Ability to read instructions and perform simple measurements.
• Preferred: Completion of a Production Machine Operator Training Program or 3–5 years machinist experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types and sizes of production machine tools to machine forgings or stock per customer requirements and specifications.
• Use a variety of cutting tools to perform machined operations.
• Read instructions and verify measurements to ensure proper setups and machining operations.
