Job summary

Technique is seeking a Weekend Shift CNC Machinist for our Jackson, Michigan facility. You will operate, set up, and program HAAS mills & lathes, Flow Waterjet, and Mitsubishi Wire EDM using Mastercam and Flow software for prototype production.

The role requires two+ years of machining experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to work overtime. Training and overtime opportunities are available in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of related machining experience required.
• HAAS CNC mill and lathe experience required.
• Mastercam 2D & 3D programming experience required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain personal tooling (calipers, mics, taps, wrenches).
• Set up and operate HAAS machining centers and Flow Waterjet.
• Program in Mastercam; develop 2D/3D toolpaths and post to ENETDNC.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines and tooling.
• Measure, deburr, and inspect parts; ensure tolerances and quality.
