Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Weekend Day shift CNC Machining Technician in Fort Collins to operate CNC and manual machines. Level 1 tasks focus on setup and basic operations, while Level 2 covers complex setups and GD&T interpretation.

You will follow detailed work instructions, inspect parts, and help maintain 5S standards on the shop floor. The role requires reading blueprints, performing quality checks with gauges, and collaborating with the team to ensure safe, precise production.

Qualifications

• Operating CNC or manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, Swiss, and OD/ID grinders.
• Able to interpret engineering blueprints and GD&T principles.
• Capable of first piece inspections and data recording per SOP.
• Maintain production efficiency with adherence to procedures and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple CNC or manual machines to produce precision metal parts.
• Performs supporting operations and checks against specifications.
• Conducts first article inspections and records data per SOP.
• Ensures quality by using gauges and following 5S/work instructions.
• Maintains organization and safety within the workstation.
