Job summary

Woodward is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to operate and set up multiple CNC and manual machines, producing precision metal parts for high‑reliability energy control solutions. This weekend day shift runs Fri–Sun 5am start, 12‑hour shifts, with a focus on safety and quality.

Level 1 and Level 2 responsibilities include setup, operation, inspection, GD&T, 5S, lean manufacturing, and collaboration with teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC and manual machining to produce precision metal parts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC/machining equipment for Level 1; perform first article inspections and follow SOPs.
• Operate more complex setups for Level 2 with GD&T proficiency and quality assurance.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and data records; collaborate with team and leadership to improve processes.
