Job summary

Orchid is seeking a Machine Operator for the Alabama site to run multi-axis CNC equipment and support production of precision medical device components. You will operate multiple machines, monitor performance, perform quality inspections, and ensure conformance to customer and regulatory specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T standards.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 1+ year operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic machining functions to produce parts.
• Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
• Monitors machine performance and checks quality.
• Completes shop work orders and inspection documents.
• Sets up jobs and programs for CNC machines to fabricate parts.
• Loads and verifies CNC programs and tools.
