Job summary

Good Samaritan Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The role supports daily living activities, vital signs, and basic health care under RN supervision, with emphasis on infection control and compassionate care.

This full-time weekend schedule runs 6:00am–2:15pm, averaging 40 hours weekly, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with State Board required or in process of obtaining certification.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Annual continuing education: 12 hours; department-specific competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, eating, and recording vital signs.
• Support transfer, range of motion, and mobility activities; assist with meals and hydration.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to charge nurse; assist with wellness activities.
