Job summary

Good Samaritan Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, meals, and basic health tasks under RN supervision, with a weekend schedule from 6:00am to 2:15pm.

Qualified applicants hold a CNA certification, prefer CNA experience in long-term care, and must maintain infection control standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in process of obtaining certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care during scheduled shift.
• Assist with activities of daily living and dining.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN/charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Support wellness and recreational activities and maintain a clean, safe environment.
