Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Meridian, MS, is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with daily living needs in a compassionate, dignity-preserving manner. You will work with residents following service plans, assist with meals, activities, and social engagement, and communicate with our branch clinical leadership when needs change.

Required: 18+, active CNA license, CPR and First Aid, HS diploma or GED; benefits include medical/dental/vision for full-time staff and 401(k) with employer

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Willing to take additional training or education as states require.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
