Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents with compassionate care, ensuring daily needs are met with dignity. The role emphasizes daily living assistance, meals, and social engagement within a caring branch setting.

Responsibilities include following service plans, clear communication with clinical leadership, and dementia-aware care. Requires an active CNA license, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Able to communicate written and verbally.
• Able to handle multiple priorities.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
