Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Certified Caregiver to support residents with daily living needs and maintain their dignity, helping them live life to the fullest. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, social engagement, and communicate with branch leadership as needs change.

Required: active CNA license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong written and verbal communication, organization, and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Willing to take additional training or state-required training.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their service plans.
• Assist in all aspects of daily living, including activities of daily living, meals, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Knowledge of how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
