Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an every-other-weekend Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The role runs 8 hours per weekend, from 6am to 2pm, with shift differentials for weekends and holidays.

Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $25.50 per hour, depending on experience. The NA assists residents with daily living activities, documents care, and supports the health care team under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification required and provided by facility or in process of certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Maintain infection control practices and use PPE as required.
• Support residents with meals and hydration, and assist with dining experiences.
