Job summary

Good Samaritan Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and support nursing staff under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, infection control, and respectful interactions with residents and families. A CNA certification is required, with driving duties as applicable, and weekend shifts are common.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board required or in process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist residents with meals and hydration; provide supportive care and comfort.
• Maintain infection prevention measures and PPE usage according to policies.
