Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is a 128-bed facility providing long-term care, skilled nursing, in-house dialysis, post-acute care, and restorative therapy. The Nursing Assistant position runs 6:00am - 2:15pm on weekends, with full-time hours and a 40-hour workweek.

The role supports residents with daily living activities and essential care under supervision of an RN. Applicants should have CNA certification, or be enrolled in a training program, and meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current CNA certification or enrollment in an approved training program.
• Annual continuing education and yearly competency testing required.
• State CNA certification and driver responsibilities where applicable.
• Potential driving duties per Sanford Driving Policy if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and meals for residents.
• Observe and report changing resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Maintain infection control practices and document care.
