Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Verifiable experience caring for seniors or disabled persons.
• Demonstrates flexibility, compassion, and reliability in home care settings.

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and accompanies them to appointments and local trips.
• Performs general housekeeping including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Redirects memory-impaired clients with safety guidance and maintains communication with SHC office staff.
• Administers medication with nurse supervision and tracks on MAR.
• Provides companionship and engages clients in activities, discussions, encouragement, reassurance, and redirection as needed.
