Job summary

Action Health Staffing in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for Saturday shifts from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM to provide in-home care. Qualifications

• Maintain certification with DFS.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess effective communication skills to include ability to read, write and follow directions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks necessary to treat clients who may include lifting, bending and standing.
• Must have sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as assigned.
• Provide personal hygiene care (bath, shave, hair care, mouth care).
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide basic nursing care and prescribed exercises.
• Prepare meals with client dietary preferences.
• Provide companionship and activities.
• Light housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Maintain complete and accurate records per agency.
• Record and report changes in client’s condition.
• Complete EVV tasks/time sheets as needed.
• Demonstrate dependability by punctual reporting.
• Adapt to client and family value systems.
• Support client independence within abilities.
• Perform other duties per care plan.
