Eastern Healthcare Group is seeking dedicated CNAs to join the Baylor Weekend Program, providing direct resident care on weekends with an extra $5.00 per hour for Baylor shifts.

The role emphasizes reliability, compassionate care, and adherence to caregiver standards. Program offers Health Insurance, tuition reimbursement, and daily pay, with weekend shifts and potential alternative schedules. Training and compliance with facility policies are required.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state.
• Reliable attendance and commitment to working scheduled Baylor weekend shifts.
• Current/active CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Customer service oriented with a compassionate approach to resident care.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.

Responsabilités

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Provide personal care, including grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, and other activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using appropriate assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, measurements, intake and output, and food consumption as assigned.
• Observe residents carefully and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist residents with meals and provide adequate hydration according to individual care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records as required.
• Promptly answer call lights and respond to resident needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Follow established infection control procedures and facility policies.
• Assist nursing staff and other team members as needed.
