Job summary

Eastern Healthcare Group is seeking dedicated CNAs to join the Baylor Weekend Program, working weekend shifts with an additional $5.00 per hour on Baylor hours. The Baylor setup provides two 16-hour weekend shifts or an alternative 3 x 12-hour schedule, with consistent weekend coverage and weekday days off.

Responsibilities include direct resident care under licensed supervision, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring a compassionate, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care under supervision of licensed staff.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, and activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and positioning.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and meals.
• Report changes in resident condition to Charge Nurse.
• Assist with meals and hydration per care plans.
• Maintain documentation and a clean, safe environment.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
