Job summary

The Center at Val Vista is seeking a Charge Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker with strong leadership skills, capable of supporting floor staff and improving patient care in a skilled nursing environment.

You will assist with admissions, coordinate care with physicians and the care team, supervise nursing workflows, ensure accuracy in charting, and uphold safe nursing practices. Active RN or LPN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license (RN preferred).
• Active Fingerprint clearance.
• Active CPR certification.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist floor nurses with patient care and admissions.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team for patient treatment.
• Provide clinical oversight and conduct chart audits as directed by DON.
• Ensure rooms are ready for new admissions and communicate with families.
