Job summary

Telecare Corporation is seeking a Certified Peer Health Navigator for the weekend day shift in Northern Washington. This in-person role centers on using lived experience to support individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges, navigating care and community resources.

The successful candidate will have Washington State Peer Certification (CPC or CPSS) and at least two years of peer experience, with strong engagement and advocacy skills. Weekend hours: Sat-Sun 8:00–16:30.

Qualifications

• Washington State Peer Certification required on hire.
• At least two years of experience as a Certified Peer or in behavioral health.
• Lived experience as a beneficiary of public behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Use your recovery experience to build trust, connection and engagement.
• Help members identify strengths, goals and personal preferences.
• Support navigating mental health, primary care, substance use, and community resources.
• Coach members to advocate for themselves and communicate with providers.
• Help overcome barriers to accessing care and manage health and recovery.
• Connect members with community resources and natural supports.
• Engage individuals who may be hard to reach with traditional services.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
• Use de-escalation and crisis prevention skills to maintain a safe environment.
