Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Peer Counselor to support clients in outpatient Behavioral Health sites and community settings. You will provide education, resources, and recovery-focused services, often working with clients and natural supports.

The role requires certification as a Washington Peer Counselor and ongoing TB testing and clinical competency. You will collaborate with therapists, attend meetings, and assist with coordination of care in a dynamic health network.

Qualifications

• Must be a consumer of service within Washington State’s mental health system.
• Must be a Certified Peer Counselor in the State of Washington.
• Must hold and maintain a current TB test and annual clinical competency as a Peer Counselor.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and outreach to clients in outpatient Behavioral Health settings.
• Collaborate with clinicians to develop recovery-focused treatment plans.
• Educate clients about resources and benefits and assist with access to services.
