Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehab seeks a Weekend Warrior CNA to join our caring team in Kentucky. This role centers on resident help, comfort, and safety during weekend shifts with premium pay.

Work with a close-knit team, record vital signs, assist with daily activities, and report changes to nursing staff. One year of Long Term Care CNA experience and state certification preferred. We offer quarterly raises, tuition reimbursement, DailyPay, and a supportive, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend to residents' needs, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record vital signs accurately and assist with transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Communicate changes in resident conditions to nursing staff.

CNA's are responsible for the following:

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Responsible for taking and recording patient vital signs lifting, moving and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognizing and reporting changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
• Reporting abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrating the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.

CNA Requirements:

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a Long Term Care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA
