Job summary

Madisonville Health & Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate care team. You will administer medications according to orders and support residents with safe, respectful care.

We value teamwork, resident comfort, and a commitment to high-quality elder care. Weekend availability is required, and experience with older adults is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must work weekends.
• One year of CMT experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to health care provider's orders
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication while following company and regulatory guidelines
• Report any changes in residents' physical condition and/or behaviors
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations

CMT Required skills and qualifications:

• Must work weekends
• High school diploma or GED
• One year of CMT experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Previous experience working directly with older adults is preferred
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
