Job summary

Englefield Retail is hiring for a part-time Cashier position (Weekends, 2nd/3rd shift) at Duchess locations. You will greet customers, process transactions, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, and ensure compliance with sales rules. Prior retail or food service experience is a plus, and flexibility matters for weekend scheduling.

Qualifications

Customer-focused mindset and ability to help customers effectively.
Basic math and cash-handling skills for transactions.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers with a smile and friendly conversation.
Process transactions efficiently using modern POS systems (cash, credit, debit, mobile payments).
Maintain a clean and organized store—inside and out.
Stock shelves and manage inventory to help customers find what they need.
Follow safety and compliance regulations for tobacco, alcohol, lottery and other sales.
Promote Duchess Crown Card Rewards loyalty program.
Use technology to assist customers, track inventory, and improve efficiency.
