Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care in Overland Park, KS is hiring caregivers who can cover weekends with reliable, compassionate care. If you’re available Saturday and Sunday (or Friday through Sunday), you can earn up to $23/hour, with higher pay and strong support for weekend coverage.

Every client and home is vetted for safety and fit, and you’ll have the backing of nurse case managers. You’ll follow HIPAA policies, maintain CPR and TB tests, and enjoy a locally owned team that truly supports its

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with safety policy.
• Reliable, insured vehicle required.
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities.
• Daily access to RNS email.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to perform all physical and mental requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide care as agreed upon by the client, family, and RNS case manager.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including monitoring Alzheimer's & dementia clients, vitals, transfers, fall prevention, bathing, home tasks, documentation, medication reminders, and pain management.
• Provide safe transportation and run errands as needed.
• Work comfortably in homes with pets where applicable.
• Follow all RNS policies, including HIPAA, standards of conduct, and dress code.
• Maintain CPR certification (within 90 days of hire).
• Maintain TB test (within 90 days of hire).
• Be responsible for working all assigned shifts and ensuring coverage if unavailable.
