Job summary

RNS Private Duty Care is dedicated to supporting caregivers with higher pay, safer environments, and a hands-on leadership team closely overseeing every client and home. You’ll work with a nurse case manager for guidance and support, ensuring you are never alone in providing care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Driver’s license with clean record & policy compliance.
• Reliable insured vehicle.
• Daily access to RNS email.
• Fluent in English.
• Able to perform all physical and mental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care as agreed upon by the client, family, and RNS case manager.
• Assist with activities of daily living and monitor health needs (Alzheimer’s & dementia care).
• Take vitals, assist with transfers, prevent falls, assist with bathing and home tasks.
• Care for clients and provide medications reminders and pain management.
• Provide safe transportation and run errands as needed.
• Follow policies including HIPAA, dress code, and communication with nurse case manager.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record and compliance with RNS safety policy
• Reliable, insured vehicle
• Cell phone with internet and texting capabilities
• Daily access to RNS email
• Fluent in English
• Able to perform all physical and mental requirements of the role

Responsibilities:

• Provide care as agreed upon by the client, client’s family, and RNS case manager
• Assist with activities of daily living, including monitoring Alzheimer’s & dementia clients, taking vitals, patient transfers, fall prevention, bathing, home tasks, documentation, medication reminders, and pain management
• Provide safe transportation and run errands as needed
• Work comfortably in homes with pets when applicable
• Follow all RNS policies, including HIPAA, standards of conduct, and dress code
• Maintain current CPR certification (or complete within 90 days of hire)
• Maintain current TB test (or complete within 90 days of hire)
• Responsible for working all assigned shifts and ensuring coverage if unavailable
