Job summary

Americare Senior Living seeks a compassionate Personal Care Attendant (PCA) to support residents’ physical and emotional well‑being in a warm, home‑like environment. You’ll work with a dedicated team to help residents feel safe, comfortable, and respected.

You’ll provide hands‑on care, document changes, and assist with daily activities. CPR/BLS training is a plus, and opportunities for growth are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and BLS certifications are a plus — training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Provide compassionate physical and emotional support while preserving resident dignity.
• Monitor resident safety and observe for signs of distress or changes in condition.
• Accurately document resident care, activities, and changes as required.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and fellow caregivers regarding resident needs.
• Engage residents in activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Support a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
