Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a Weekend In-Home Non-Medical Caregiver to provide companionship, personal assistance, and daily living support to clients in their homes. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care and work under supervision of the Care Manager to promote safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, mobility support, and reminders for medications.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in home care, long-term care, or related field preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable and trustworthy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions effectively.
• Commitment to protecting client privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) as scheduled.

Job Summary:

Assisting Hands is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy Weekend In-Home Non-Medical Caregiver to provide companionship, personal assistance, and daily living support to clients in the comfort of their homes. Under the supervision of the Care Manager and in accordance with each client’s individualized Plan of Care, the caregiver will help promote a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment while encouraging independence, preserving dignity, and enhancing overall quality of life.

Reports To: Care Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
• Remind clients to take medications according to the established care plan and applicable guidelines.
• Ensure the home environment remains clean, safe, and comfortable.
• Monitor and promptly report any concerns or changes in the client’s well-being to the appropriate supervisor.
• Provide dependable care during scheduled weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one (1) year of experience in home care, long-term care, or a related field preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions effectively.

• Availability to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays, as scheduled.

Working Hours:

This is a weekend position, with shifts available on Saturdays and Sundays based on client needs and caregiver availability. Flexible scheduling may be available, including morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts. Hours vary depending on client needs and assignments. Please note that we cannot guarantee a fixed number of hours.

Compensation: $18.50 per hour
